Computed with the same four public criteria as every profile. The human-evidence grade on an indexed profile is set automatically and may change when it is hand-reviewed. It is not a safety score, not a purity rating, and not medical advice, and not a claim that this compound treats, cures, or prevents any condition.
What it is
Palopegteriparatide, sold as Yorvipath, is a prodrug of parathyroid hormone (PTH 1-34) attached to a carrier that releases the active hormone slowly over time. It is designed to provide steady parathyroid hormone levels, helping the body regulate calcium and phosphate much like the natural hormone does.
What the evidence shows
It is FDA-approved for the treatment of hypoparathyroidism in adults, supported by Phase 3 trials among 9 registered human studies. Evidence for uses outside this approved indication is not established.
