No. PLOBT is an independent information tool. We describe what a compound is and what the published evidence says. Nothing here is a recommendation to use any substance, or a claim that any compound treats, cures, or prevents a condition. Talk to a qualified clinician before any health decision.
Do vendors pay to be listed or scored?Independence
No, and they can't. We take no money from any vendor, brand, or lab. Scores are computed the same way for every compound, and no company can pay to change one.
What does the Evidence score actually measure?Method
The weight of evidence and regulatory standing behind a compound. It is not a safety score, not a purity or quality rating, and not a recommendation. A low score means the human evidence is thin, not that a product is unsafe.
Where does the data come from?Sources
Public sources: ClinicalTrials.gov for registered human trials, openFDA for regulatory records, and Europe PMC and PubMed for published research, plus hand-graded evidence tiers. Every profile links its sources.
Can you tell me if a specific vendor's batch is clean?Verify
Not yet. Verify is in development. When it launches it will only link to third-party lab results that are already public, with the source attached. We will never publish a purity number we can't point to.
What does “not FDA approved” mean here?Regulatory
It means the FDA has not approved the compound as a medicine. Many peptides are sold as “research chemicals, not for human consumption.” We say this up front on every profile so the status is never buried.
